Kushinda Logistics ("we", "us") is based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it and what rights you have. We handle personal data in line with the Personal Data Protection Act, 2022 of Tanzania.

What we collect

We only collect the details you give us when you request a quote or contact us:

  • your name, company, phone number and email address
  • details of your shipment, such as where it is coming from, where it is going and what the cargo is
  • anything else you write in your message or email

We use Rybbit, a privacy-friendly analytics tool, to count page views and understand which parts of the site are useful. It sets no cookies, does not collect your name or contact details, and does not track you across other websites. You can block it through your browser settings at any time. The site uses no advertising trackers. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security and to keep the site running.

How we use it

  • to prepare and send you a quote, and to answer your questions
  • to arrange and carry out the clearing or transport services you book with us
  • to meet our legal obligations, including customs and tax record-keeping

We do not sell your data or use it for marketing without your consent.

Who we share it with

Quote requests are delivered to our team by email through Resend, an email delivery service. When you book a service, we share the details needed to carry it out with the relevant authorities, such as the Tanzania Revenue Authority and port operators, and with partners involved in moving your cargo. Some of these providers may process data outside Tanzania; where they do, we take steps to make sure it stays protected.

How long we keep it

We keep quote requests for as long as we need them to respond and follow up. Records of shipments we handle are kept for as long as the law requires, after which they are deleted.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it where we are not required to keep it. You can also object to how we use it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Personal Data Protection Commission of Tanzania.
